Conservation repairs to the stone parapets, bell gable, window jambs, cornice and lime plastering to the internal façade.

In this project we carried out conservation repairs to the bath stone parapets, bell gable, window jambs, cornice and lime plastering to the internal façade of the staff room.

All of the joints to the bath stone copins were either pointed in a cement mortar or missing mortar completely, we carried a full repointing of all the joints including some minor pinning to the bath stone where some minor cracks were present.

Some spalling was present to one of the jambs and cornice. We carried out some mortar repairs were carried to the jambs and cornice.

The bell was removed from the bell gable some time ago. We filled in the bell gable with matching bath stone to prevent further water ingress through rain.
